Recording Policy

A DVD will be made of each OULN class session at the campus on which the instructor is originating. The DVD is intended soley for purposes of backup in the event of transmission problems between campuses. If the class session was successfully received by the campuses involved in the class the DVD shall be disposed of. If transmission problems occurred during the class session, copies of the backup DVD shall be made available for a limited time to the students on the campuses involved in the class.

Each class is also recorded on the Tandberg Content Server. The Tandberg Content Server is accessible via the internet. Viewers would simply need to have access to a high speed internet connection. Each course recording can be password protected the request of the instructor. Students with permission from instructors can view their course synchronously or asynchronously via the internet.
